Patch Windows Server 2003 to allow more than 2 concurrent sessions

1) Download and install V-patch from vpatch32.zip

2) From the vpatch directory launch vpatchprompt.exe

3) Vpatchprompt will ask you for the following files:
- Patch file (the “.pat” file)

- Source file (C:\Windows\system32\termsrv.dll)

- Destination file (the patched termsrv.dll - save it on the desktop)

4) Reboot server in safe mode and now replace C:\Windows\system32\termsrv.dll with the new one & reboot

User has to be member of “Remote Desktop Users” and have a “Allow logon through Terminal Services” right.

Start “gpedit.msc”. Select:
Local Computer Policy / Computer Configuration / Windows Settings / Security Settings / Local Policy / User Right Assignment.
In the Policy window double click on “Allow logon through Terminal Services”. Add user to policy.

That's all folks!
